    matchmakers getting married

I was just on The Millionaire Matchmaker on Bravo. Who is she, you ask? Great question! I had no idea who she was before I went on her show either. Patti Stanger is THE Millionaire Matchmaker, an "experienced third-generation matchmaker" with a reality show on Bravo. The show matches millionaires who are looking for "true love", but really the show is about Patti, the viper-tongued matchmaker who refers to men and women by their genitalia and screams at people who dare disagree with her. Patti herself is also finally getting married, so this season the show will feature her planning her wedding. The producers thought it a great idea to match Patti up with her own wedding planner, but from the tantrum that Patti threw as she met with those of us who were picked for her, she's not into the whole wedding thing. I've never seen a more angry bride.

I, along with four other successful and incredible wedding planners, was brought in to meet Patti. Thankfully, the show only aired about five minutes of the hour long process that was as pleasant as a shark feeding. One of the planners left the room crying after she was viciously torn apart based on her appearance alone.

The worst thing Patti said to me was that I looked like a "Victorian librarian who lives in Pasadena" and exclaimed as I was leaving the room how much she "hates redheads". I don't know about you, but living in a mansion in Pasadena and reading books all day sounds like an awesome life to me! Maybe I'm in the wrong field? Oh, wait, I love planning fabulous weddings for happy brides. Nevermind!

PS: Oh, and Patti? ALL of my clients are celebrities. For one day, at least!

You were great on Millionaire Matchmaker! I thought it was funny when Patty asked, "Have you ever done and a celebrity wedding?" and you kept a straight face and said, "You'd be my first!" I was like, wait... was Patty referring to herself as celebrity? She's not a celebrity! She's a bravolebrity!

Hey Amber, B and I just saw you on Millionaire Matchmaker! I watch the show, and it was a random surprise! She is such a witch though... you definitely dodged a bullet by not having her as one of your clients! BTW, I thought you looked amazing and super cute, though I know from watching the show she unleashes hate on redheads. Seems to be working out for Amy Adams :) Oh, how I wish I had red hair too!

Beautiful Amber, Stanger is a real stinker, and she is SOOOooo jealous of anyone who is better looking than her! She has no class and stomps around belittling everyone in her path to make herself feel superior. It's a crying shame, because she could be so much more civilized and sophisticated and still get the job done. She is the opposite of YOU! Class and sophistication are exactly what you bring to the show! Keep it up and you could have a show of your own, like David Tutera! Best of luck to you!

You did great! Patti can be pretty harsh. All brides are celebrities in my book!

I saw you on the show a few days ago! Mind you, I'd never really watch that show, but it was on at the gym and I got sucked in. You were completely dignified and elegant, and she was a giant miserable meanie! There's a big difference between fame-whoring and celebrity, and I think we all know what category she's in. Way to keep your cool, girl! xoxo
