    Don't Worry, Be Happy!

The last month before your wedding is going to be CRAAAAAAZY. Seriously, crazy. You are going to call 1/3 of your guests who did not RSVP even though you included a self addressed stamped envelope in their invitation, you're going to deal with your mother and future mother-in-law who are getting fussy about everything, you are going to flip out at work because you have to get all of your current work done AND make sure everything is ok for you to be gone for your honeymoon, and you might have problems with your dress fittings, bridesmaids, family, friends and vendors.

But then the wedding day rolls around. My biggest piece of advice? LET. IT. GO. I don't know what IT is going to be for your wedding, and neither will you until IT happens, but when, not if, (sh)IT happens? Let IT G0! Say it with me: Let IT Go! Things are going to go wrong on your wedding day. You can't control how things unfold but you can control how you react to them. I knew a bride once who let the fact that the color of her bouquet was a shade off ruin her day. Kid you not. Rain happens. Traffic happens. Cakes fall over. Bouquets wilt. The DJ might play the wrong song. The food might take too long to be served. Your groomsmen might get too drunk. Your dad might make a 30 minute toast. But Let It Go!!!

Make a conscious decision that no matter what happens on your wedding day you are going to Let IT Go and focus on the fact that you are marrying the love of your life and your family and friends are there to celebrate it with you. If you do that I promise you'll have a wonderful wedding day. Even if the cake falls over or your bouquet is the wrong color.
